​​Tokio Haruta moved to the United States from Japan in 1978 to bring the art of Japanese gardens to the Monterey, Salinas and Carmel regions.  Throughout the last 3 decades he has worked on hundreds of homes, offices and housing developments to create the perfect Japanese landscaped garden.
